Submitting clean claims the first time will help prevent the insurance company delaying payment with denials or additional information requests. Insurance Aging
Insurance aging is one of the most difficult things to keep up in-office. Between checking patients in and out, collecting for services, answering phones, scheduling, treatment coordinating, and all of the other tasks the front office keeps up with on a daily basis, there is not much time left to run an aging report and contact the insurance company for claim follow-up. Outsourcing your insurance aging with Up Front Dental Solutions will keep your insurance aging down and make sure that you are receiving all payment owed to you by insurance companies. We will pull your aging report and follow-up on all claims aged over 30 days every 14-21 business days, leaving detailed notes in the process so that you can always see where a claim is in the insurance process. If there is a reason a claim has not been paid within 30 days, we are going to find out what is going on and get it paid as soon as possible!
Posting Insurance Payments
Posting insurance payments is another time consuming task for your front office that needs to be done with complete accuracy to ensure that all write-offs and patient balances are correct and true according to your contract with the insurance company. Believe it or not, incorrect write-offs and patient billing is insurance fraud and something to be taken very seriously! At Up Front Dental Solutions, we will accurately post all paper checks scanned to us as well as pull and post your EFTs within 24 business hours so that your insurance collections are always current and you can see payment for your services as fast as they come in!
Denied Claims
Even with clean claim submission, occasionally an insurance company will still come back with a denial for a service. When this happens, Up Front Dental Solutions will make 3 appeal attempts with the insurance company to get your claim paid. If a claim is denied because a patient's insurance was inactive on the date of service, we will reach out to your patient to contact the office with their new insurance coverage. If a patient does not have new coverage we will let your office know to bill the patient for services performed. Again, we want you to get paid as quickly as possible and taking denials off of your hands is another way we will make this happen for you!

Unlike the large dental billing companies, at Up Front Dental Solutions we do not require you to sign up for all dental billing services that we offer. Rather, we want you to let us know how we can help your office and we will customize a package to meet your offices's needs.
